Travis Bryan to Seek District Chairman Position
Pasadena, Texas — Precinct Chairman Travis Bryan announced his intentions to seek election as the next District Chairman for SD-11 in Harris County, Texas, today.
The announcement was made during a meet-and-greet fundraiser hosted for Bryan in Pasadena earlier today, where he was introduced as one of three national delegates from Texas’ 36th Congressional District.
“Senate District 11 is a solid Republican district, but it’s going to take a lot of hard work keep it that way,” Bryan said. “We need to make a serious effort to bring our moderate friends back to the right, put strong leadership in every single election precinct, and tap into the conservative surge that is our youth.”
Bryan intends to use the powers given to district chairmen by the HCRP Bylaws to energize a grassroots movement throughout the district.
The current chairman, Stanley Briers, is expected to seek re-election, and Bryan would face him when HCRP holds its organizational meeting later this year.
